Cheap, fast & secure - Low cost, fast. I like the built-in U3 security software.Ideal for a back-up medium.

Carry your mailbox around - This is fantastic. I can download and read my mail from either my own or my partners computer and I have all my addresses and favorites on hand too. There is a great little diary/task program EssentialPIM and so I can have the same task list wherever I am. I d long given up on lugging my laptop around and put up with the inconvenience of not having my own favorites and rather than this being a copy of a file it is the real thing.Oh, and just in case I leave it on a train it s password protected.I m really impressed.

Excellent - Have had mine for nearly 12 months now. U3 program work fine and mean that I get all my instant messages via Trillian wherever I am without loading anything on local PC. Work very quickly with Firefox for U3 when streaming, for example, BBC Iplayer. I have also added Mojopac wo I have my own desktop where ever I go. 4GB is fine for me - have a load of music and videos on it as well as docs. I like the password protection of U3 - I carry it with me wherever I go. I may go for a larger size later but for now 4GBis fine (and SOOO cheap!!). You can use Logmein Ignition (paid for) or Logmein Free or Teamviewer Free for remote access via the U3 if you need to and it works absolutely fine.

Great for portable applications - Why carry a laptop around, when you can have one of these? Even without the advanced U3 features, it s a handy flash drive. Convenient, robust, light and with a neat connector protector. With the U3, however it doubles as a portable computer. if you find that you prefer Firefox, Thunderbird and OpenOffice to the proprietary Microsoft products, then you can carry those (and other) apps, together with your favourite sites and login settings on this little gizmo. Instead of struggling to send emails from a internet cafe, take one of these, set it up ahead of time, then plug it in to the local PC and you re good to go.When you visit your favourite sites, or enter passwords, there s no record of that activity on the host computer (unless there s a spyware keylogger installed). That means it s possible to use this device to access your own networks and password-protected sites without any risk that the owner of the computer gains access to sensitive information. If you want (and I do) you can password-protect the whole unit, so that even if it is lost, the data is not accessible. The device might need updating before it will run properly on Vista operating systems. The U3 features are available only in Windows, but other operating systems will read the thing as an ordinary flash drive, giving access to all documents, but not the software. Mine struggles a bit with Linux (Ubuntu Hardy), but it s OK if the machine has the right settings. I had a 1GB unit for many years, and it was great. I ve now upgraded to the 4GB unit and that is plenty big enough.

A lovely one - I ve had this a while now and it works well. Unlike some of the reviews I ve read,I really rate the software that comes with it. It comes into it s own in internet cafes and on friends computers. No trace of your passage left behind and the SignupShield fills in the passwords without you having to do any key strokes on a potentially vulnerable cyber cafe computer.Oh, and the sync software lets you use Google on other computers with all your bookmarks. Also you can run Outlook on any computer as if it was your own. Fantastic.
